Morning Mocha Smoothie
I'm not the biggest coffee fan but when I was given a bag of coffee by a friend I was determined to find a way to use it all. Therefore this smoothie was born and the rest is history... and so is that bag of coffee 😉
Ingredients
- 1 shot of espresso (I love this Medium Roast from Fluffy Cow Coffee Roasters)
- 1.5 cups almond milk
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 TBSP cacao powder
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I enjoy Orgain Organic Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder)*
- 1 handful of ice
Instructions
Add all your ingredients and blend!
Pro Tip: Add your liquids first, then your powders so the powders don't get stuck to the side of your blender!
Notes
*With Orgain Organic Protein Powders, I find it grainy if you add the recommended 2 scoops, therefore I only add 1 scoop to my smoothies for a protein packed non-grainy taste!
