16 Simple Christmas Gift Ideas for Baby

I don’t know about you, but the idea of my baby’s first Christmas seems like this big event that I, as a new mom, don’t want to ‘fail’. Which is ridiculous, right? All our baby needs is love and smiles and comfort, but in today’s world, more seems better and this idea that he ‘needs’ a lot of things in general is just not the case. Even right now, Reef, our 4 month old little man, loves playing with the same toys over and over again and I love that I don’t currently have a million random toys chilling all across my living room floor.

So here is my SIMPLE CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE FOR BABY which includes some of his current favorites and the gifts that he will be opening up on that wonderful Christmas morning, all of which are practical and have some wiggle room for growth.

PLAY

  1. Adena Montessori Ball & Box with Tray

2. Tiger Montessori Rolling Drum

3. Wooden Baby Play Gym (Reef LOVES this!)

4. Itzy Ritzy Link & Love Hanging Llama (Hang this on your Wooden Play Gym and your baby will SO entertained)

TEETHING + FEEDING

5. Baltic Essentials Teething Necklace – We have several friends who swear by this so we ordered the Raw Baltic Amber Necklace to help with teething pain, drool and those oh-so-cute rosie cheeks Reef has! But I also ordered the Rainbow Honey Amber Knotted bracelet for ME to help with postpartum anxiety and love it so far.

6. Haaka Fruit/Food Feeder MILK FROZEN SET – Love that this comes with a cap to be able to freeze breast milk in! I bought in Steel Blue + Mustard

7. Copper Pearl Bibs – We love Copper Pearl designs and I know Reef loves the soft fleece underside of these bibs

8. LouLou Lollipop Muslin Bibs – Again, super cute prints and the softness is unmatched for all that under-the-chin drool

BOOKS for play and bedtime

9. POKE-A-DOT Books by Melissa & Doug – my niece LOVED these and still to this day (she’s almost 2 now) they are a big hit at play/quiet time

10. The Koala Who Could by Rachel Bright – We borrowed this one from the library and now need it in our collection
